I believe that the charges against Arman Shahakyan also have a political context - lawyer
Lawyer Emin Khachatryan writes on his Facebook page: "I inform you that a charge has been brought against Arman Galusti Shahakyan, the former head of the State Property Management Department of the Republic of Armenia, in the criminal case being investigated by the RA Investigative Committee's Main Investigation Department. The charge against Arman Shahakyan is clearly unfounded and based on unsubstantiated assumptions of the investigating authority, which cannot be reasonable.
Due to pre-investigation secrecy, I cannot disclose the content of the charge and the factual circumstances; however, I can definitively state that they bear no relation to reality. Moreover, considering the current political realities and developments, I find that there is also a political context, from which it can be concluded that expecting a complete, comprehensive, and objective investigation in this criminal case is simply naive, as the basis for involving Arman Shahakyan as a defendant in the criminal case does not only lack sufficient evidence supporting the commission of a crime by him, but furthermore, no evidence has been obtained by the investigator that proves that Arman Shahakyan committed the alleged criminal act attributed to him."
It should be noted that it was previously reported that Galust Shahakyan’s son, Arman Shahakyan, has been involved as a defendant in the criminal case being handled by the Investigative Committee.
