Edmon Marukyan Appointed Co-Rapporteur of PACE

During the May 27 meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Bright Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, was appointed as the co-rapporteur on the fulfillment of obligations related to Romania's membership.

The second co-rapporteur for Romania is Norwegian delegate Jett Kristensen.

"I checked the PACE archives. It turns out that the last time we had a co-rapporteur from Armenia for another country was in 2007," Edmon Marukyan informed on his Facebook page.
