Anna Hakobyan Congratulates Armenian Peacekeepers on Their Day

Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia and chairperson of the boards for the "My Step" and "City of Smile" charitable foundations, congratulated Armenian peacekeepers on their day through a Facebook post, sharing a photo with them.

In her message, Hakobyan stated: "May 29 is the International Day of Peacekeepers. For 16 years, the Armenian Armed Forces have also participated in international peacekeeping missions, regarded as a guarantor of international security and demonstrating that humanitarianism is an absolute value... I congratulate the Armenian peacekeepers on this day, wishing them safe service and new achievements on international platforms. July 2019, with Armenian servicemen carrying out peacekeeping missions in Lebanon," she wrote.
