70 Citizens Stranded at Upper Lars Arrive in Armenia Late Evening
After a prolonged period, the 70 citizens of Armenia, who were at the Upper Lars border checkpoint, arrived in Armenia late in the evening. This information was provided by the Health and Labor Inspection Authority of Armenia.
“At the border, the operational team of the Health and Labor Inspection Authority’s ‘Bagratashen’ medical and sanitary control point has properly measured the temperature of all arriving citizens, checking for any clinical signs characteristic of infectious diseases through external observation. Everyone was provided with personal protective equipment, including masks and gloves, and self-isolation notices were issued.
No citizens were recorded with fever or clinical symptoms during the checks. To ensure a quicker and smoother entry process for the citizens, the border control team of the Health and Labor Inspection Authority was reinforced.
Earlier, the Consulate General of Armenia in Rostov-on-Don reported that Armenian citizens were transported to Armenia using three buses provided by the government of our country.
“It should be noted that this transport was carried out exceptionally. The entry of foreign citizens into Georgia through the Upper Lars checkpoint remains closed,” the statement said.
