One New COVID-19 Death Recorded in Gegharkunik Province

As of May 28, a total of 470 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Gegharkunik Province, with 241 recoveries and 7 deaths. This was reported on the Facebook page of the provincial governor, Gnel Sanosyan.

Thus, there are 15 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, 27 recoveries, and 1 new death.

Regarding the death case, it was revealed that the patient was a 76-year-old male with accompanying chronic diseases. Previously, it was also reported that a death case had been recorded where the patient had tested positive for the coronavirus, but the death was due to another illness. There is 1 such case.

Confirmed cases have been recorded in the communities of Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Shatvan, Sotk, Norakert, Tzovinar, Tzovazart, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan, Zovaber, Martuni (town), Khachakhbyur, Areghuni, Lchashen, Tsak Qar, Verin Getashen, Varsar, Arpunk, Tsovak, Pokr Masrik, Vardazor, Zolakhar, Geghamasar, Gandzak, Chkalovka, Astghadzor, Artsvavank, Nerqin Getashen, Dzoragyugh, Tsovagyugh, Akunk, Lusakunq, Vaghashen, Gavar, Karmirgyugh, and Vardenik.
