It is Time: Moises Silikyan's Call to the People Published by the Ministry of Defense Spokesperson

The spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan, has published Moises Silikyan's call to the people on her Facebook page.

“Congratulations on the day of the renaissance of the Armenian state. General Moises Silikyan's call to the people: “Armenians, hurry to liberate the homeland! The time has come for every Armenian to set aside personal concerns and act with their last effort in the great cause of saving the homeland and protecting the honor of their wives and daughters. We must strike against the enemy.

“Armenians, now is not the time to delay. All men under fifty are obliged to take up arms, and I demand everyone to present themselves with their weapons and ammunition for the defense of the homeland.

“Armenian women, remember the soft-spoken ladies of the 5th century who inspired their husbands during the great deeds of the immortal Vardan's battles. Follow their example if you do not want your honor to be trampled upon; encourage them and scorn those cowards who avoid going to the front under various pretexts.

“For the physical existence of the distressed Armenian people, for the trampled truth, stand up. To action, to the sacred war…”
