I Have Not Asked Anyone to Place Any Family Member in a Job: Arsen Julfalakyan
Arsen Julfalakyan, a member of the "My Step" faction in the National Assembly, addressed press publications about himself on his Facebook page. It is reported that Julfalakyan expressed a desire to be appointed as Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, and also wanted to place his wife in the education sector, but was rejected.
“When you talk about sectoral gaps and mistakes with justifications, the press (some...) begins to necessarily search for other things within it. This means that sheer concern and dedication to work is impossible; you must have personal interests. In the last two days, so many assumptions, rumors, and materials appeared on this topic that I found it appropriate to clarify at least theoretically some of the more or less possible options.
I have zero desire to become Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport. I have never taken any steps towards that and do not intend to. Moreover, when I was previously offered this role, I refused myself. I have not requested or asked anyone to place any member of my family or any relative in any state institution. If there is such a person, let them mention the name right under this post.
Furthermore, I have no relatives working in any state institution. As for Levon Julfalakyan’s employment (municipality), it would be hard to find even one rational person who would think that someone should be asked for his job to transition. I don’t know what blacklist exists, where it came from, and on what principle ‘Hraparak’ created it, but I believe it wouldn’t be a bad group to form to go for a coffee example during the upcoming free days so that at least some basis would arise behind the written piece.
P.S. I suggest that instead of the mentioned rumors, you focus on the issues I have raised. If we can even solve some of them, many will benefit. Although I am almost confident that the websites that authored the mentioned topics will hardly disseminate even this post of mine). I wish everyone healthy non-working days,” Julfalakyan wrote.
