Witness Against Kajaran Residents Recants Testimony, Claims It Was Made Under Duress
According to "Pasts.info," an individual who testified against those arrested in Kajaran recently has recanted his testimony as of May 25. It has been revealed that he appeared before the investigative body and stated that his initial testimony, which was the basis for the arrests of the Kajaran residents, was given under pressure. Thus, he denied the accusations presented against the detainees in his previous testimony.
As per our sources, the individual clearly mentioned in his second testimony that he does not recognize himself as a victim. Essentially, it turns out that the controversial arrests conducted a few days ago, which, by the way, involved the use of violence and were later declared unlawful by the court, were made solely based on the seemingly false testimony of one person.
