Ways of Coronavirus Transmission in the Workplace: Arsen Torosyan
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, made a quote on his Facebook page regarding the transmission routes of the coronavirus from a scientific article.
“Workplaces. The next form of virus transmission is referred to as concentration. An infected employee works on the 11th floor of a building, which has 216 employees. Within a week, 94 of these individuals became infected (43.5%: blue chairs), and out of these 94, 92 showed symptoms (only 2 remained asymptomatic). It’s notable that primarily only one side of the room is infected, while the others contracted the virus through contact with various surfaces (doorknobs, railings, faucets, light switches). Interestingly, although there was considerable interaction among employees on different floors, in elevators, and lobbies, the outbreak was predominantly confined to one floor,” he remarked.
