Arrest Warrant Issued for Ruben Hayrapetyan, Defense Lawyer Says

Lawyer Aram Makinyan writes on his Facebook page: “The grounds for the search are being considered... Today, a decision was made by an investigator from the Investigative Committee’s Special Investigation Division to declare an arrest warrant for Ruben Hayrapetyan, despite the fact that 1. his location is clearly known, 2. there are insurmountable obstacles to returning to Armenia, which we have properly informed the investigator.

Of course, they have not forgotten to submit a request to the court to choose arrest as a preventive measure. Law, pandemic, quarantine – it seems we haven't heard of them...”
