COVID-19 Deaths Include Men Aged 58, 61, 67, and 69, Women Aged 85 and 86
As of May 25, at 11:00 AM, a total of 7,113 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported, with 3,145 patients having recovered and 87 resulting in death. Currently, there are 3,842 patients receiving actual treatment for the virus. In total, 51,594 tests have been conducted.
This marks 452 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 81 recoveries. Regarding the mortalities, the Ministry of Health reports that the deceased patients were aged 85 (female), 61 (male), 58 (male), 69 (male), 86 (female), and 67 (male) and had accompanying chronic illnesses.
On the previous day, there were 6 recorded deaths where COVID-19 was confirmed, but death occurred due to other health issues. The total number of such cases is 39. It is important to note that one of the deaths from other causes sadly involved maternal mortality. A 31-year-old woman suffered a fatal pulmonary embolism five days after giving birth, with preliminary diagnosis indicating the cause. The final cause of death will be determined following forensic examination. This is the first reported maternal death of the year.
