COVID-19 Cases in Armenia Increase by 359, Total Reaches 6661

As of May 24, Armenia has confirmed 359 new cases of COVID-19. Additionally, four citizens have died due to the virus. The total number of infected individuals has now reached 6661, with the death toll at 82.

This information was provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia. In the last day, 128 people have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 3064. Currently, there are 5039 individuals undergoing treatment.

In total, 50397 citizens have been tested for COVID-19. There has also been one additional death related to COVID-19 but attributed to other underlying health conditions, bringing the total of such cases to 33 as of May 24.

Regarding the deaths, the Ministry of Health reports that the patients were 82 (male), 73 (female), 77 (male), and 71 (male) years old and had underlying chronic health issues.
