Five New Cases of Coronavirus Detected in Georgia
As of May 23, five new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, according to the StopCov.ge website.
The total number of confirmed cases is 728. Additionally, 14 more individuals have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 509.
Currently, 207 individuals are undergoing treatment, while 12 people have died due to the virus.
There are 3,511 individuals in quarantine, and 243 are under medical supervision.
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the state of emergency and curfew in Georgia was lifted on May 22; however, some restrictions are still in place. The first case of COVID-19 in Georgia was recorded on February 26.
