Extraordinary Incident: 'Cacadu' Parrot Sold at Zoo Store

The investigative department of the Nor Nork division of the police is preparing materials based on the application of Nune Soghomonyan, the legal advisor of the Yerevan Zoo. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, she reported to the police that a 'Cacadu' parrot went missing from the zoo on September 3, 2019, and was spotted for sale in an animal shop located in the second district of Nor Nork on March 17 by a zoo employee.

Sources indicate that Nor Nork police arrived at the mentioned shop, where the saleswoman stated that she purchased the parrot in December 2019 from her acquaintance, Narek G., a resident of Yerevan. He was subsequently located by the police, and he claimed that he deals in selling animals and found the mentioned parrot.
