Attempt of Diversionary Incursion Prevented: Artsakh Defense Ministry

On May 22, the enemy attempted a diversionary incursion towards one of the defense positions of the Defense Army.

The frontline units of the Defense Army timely identified the advance of Azerbaijani special forces and repelled them to their initial positions, causing losses.

During the ensuing clashes, the Defense Army reported no losses.

The Defense Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh calls upon the Azerbaijani side to refrain from its unwarranted strategy of artificially escalating the situation. Otherwise, the full responsibility for the heightened tensions on the frontline will fall on the Azerbaijani side.
