Arsen Torosyan Explains What Medical Triage Is

“Medical triage, also known as sorting or triage,” wrote Arsen Torosyan, the Minister of Health, on his Facebook page while sharing relevant materials from Wikipedia.

Earlier, during a meeting with members of the Public Council, in response to a question from Daniel Ioannisyan, Minister Torosyan stated, “We may resort to deep triage. Deep triage is also conducted during wartime when patients with a chance of survival are primarily taken for treatment. It is not ruled out that, even under the current pace, we may resort to that in the coming days, although we are doing everything to avoid it, such as expanding new hospital beds, and so on.”
