99 Patients Are Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital

According to a post on the Shirak Regional Administration's Facebook page, it is noted that "From March 1 to the present, 1,745 samples have been taken in the healthcare facilities of Shirak Province and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to 21, 422 samples have been tested in Gyumri alone.

As of May 22, there are 99 patients undergoing treatment for coronavirus at the Gyumri infectious disease hospital, of which 40 are residents of Shirak Province. To date, 115 patients have recovered from the virus and been discharged from the hospital, 92 of whom are residents of the province. Currently, 28 patients are receiving treatment in the capital.

At this moment, 283 citizens in Shirak Province are under home self-isolation. 62 patients with asymptomatic conditions have been transferred to hotels, 48 of whom are residents of Shirak Province. There have been 7 reported deaths due to the virus."
