On May 18, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan participated in the online meeting of the World Economic Forum's regional group for Europe and Eurasia. During the meeting, strategies employed by governments and businesses to overcome the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus were discussed, along with challenges in global and regional value chains and potential solutions.

In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that all countries are facing a public health crisis and that the coronavirus will continue to be a challenge for a long time. Presenting Armenia's strategy for overcoming the crisis, he pointed out that the imposed restrictions have allowed time to adapt to the situation and to enhance the capacities of the healthcare system.
