We Cannot Reveal That Secret, It Is Very Dangerous: Arshak Karapetyan
“Perhaps that question is for the heated chairmanship of the commission.” This was stated today by Arshak Karapetyan, who served as the head of the intelligence department of the Armed Forces General Staff during the April 2016 events and is now an advisor to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during a conversation with journalists regarding why he had been summoned for the second time to participate in the sessions of the April Inquiry Commission.
“The commission had clarifying questions, to which I responded. We have a secrecy issue here, because it is important for Azerbaijan to know whether intelligence was aware in April 2016 or not. It’s not that I don’t want to talk or defend myself; the issue is that we cannot disclose that secret, it is very dangerous,” said Karapetyan.
