Prime Minister Cancels Decision to Establish Committee for Independence Day Events
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision to nullify the resolutions made on July 11, 2018, and May 3, 2019, regarding the establishment of a committee for organizing events dedicated to Independence Day.
The decision states: “Guided by Article 37, Part 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Normative Legal Acts: 1. To annul the following: 1) the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia dated July 11, 2018, N 935-A on the establishment of a state committee for the preparation and organization of events dedicated to Independence Day and approval of its individual composition; 2) the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia dated May 3, 2019, N 484-A on the establishment of an inter-agency committee, approval of its individual composition, and the annulment of the decision N 788-A of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia dated August 20, 2011.”
