21-Year-Old Attacks 23-Year-Old Villager Near Geghamavan Community Club
On May 13, around 9 PM, the police department in Sevan received a report from a medical center that a 23-year-old man had been admitted with penetrating stab wounds.
The responding law enforcement officers identified the victim, spoke with the doctor, and documented the diagnosis. The nature of the injuries suggested that he had been stabbed. However, it was necessary to determine by whom and under what circumstances.
Criminal investigators immediately took measures towards uncovering the case, resulting in information that around 8:30 PM at the community club near Geghamavan, during a dispute over household issues, the victim was stabbed by a 21-year-old resident of the same village, who then fled the scene in a 'VAZ-2107' vehicle.
As a result of explanatory work, on May 15, the suspect voluntarily appeared at the Sevan police department and was arrested. Circumstances are being clarified, and the investigation into the criminal case continues.
