Germany is the First Country to Resume the Championship. Bundesliga Kicks Off Today
The Bundesliga championship will resume today, May 16. Germany is the first country to restart its league. Notably, Chancellor Angela Merkel played a role in this decision. Together with health system officials, a decision was made to restart the Bundesliga.
It was also decided what would happen if a player tests positive for coronavirus. In that case, the entire team will enter a two-week quarantine.
