Peskov Reveals Last Time He Spoke with Putin
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has announced that he has not personally communicated with the country's leader, Vladimir Putin, for more than a month due to a lack of necessity.
Previously, Peskov had reported that he contracted the coronavirus and is currently being treated in a hospital.
“We haven’t communicated in person for over a month. Well, of course. And there hasn’t been any need for it. Work is organized differently now. This does not change the essence of the work process. Everyone has fully adapted to the video conferencing mode, and these take place not only in an open format, as you can see, but also in a closed format. Modern technologies allow for confidentiality, for example, during Security Council meetings,” Peskov said in an interview with Kommersant, responding to a question about when he last spoke with the president.
