Breaking: Brawl and Scuffle in the National Assembly

During a recent session of the National Assembly, Edmon Marukyan responded to a previous speech by Babken Tunyan, stating, "We say that we are getting calls about these issues. You come in here, arrogantly claiming that it’s all lies, that no one is being called, etc. He says this from the podium, and then receives 120 calls. You claim that the 'Enlightened Armenia' has given you everything. Mr. Tunyan, when you speak like a scoundrel from the podium, you create tension. Please don’t do that."

From his seat, 'My Step' MP Sasun Mikayelyan began yelling, but his words were inaudible. Instead, Marukyan's voice could be heard: "Mr. Mikayelyan, I'm not your grandfather. What do you want to hear?" He then stepped down from the podium.

Sasun Mikayelyan approached him and began throwing punches, after which a major brawl erupted.
