Two Men Threaten to Jump from the Victory Bridge, Demanding Assistant of Prime Minister Pashinyan Arrives

In Yerevan, two citizens, aged between 30 and 35, have crossed the dangerous edge of the Victory Bridge and are threatening to jump off. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

Emergency situations ministry's rescue service firefighters have arrived on the scene and are trying to persuade the individuals not to take such a step. They were joined by A. Ghazaryan, head of the correspondence and applications department of the Armenian government, who is also appealing to the men not to proceed with their intentions.

The men are demanding that Nairi Sargsyan, assistant to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, come to the scene. They state that they want him to arrive, listen to their concerns, and then provide them with financial assistance.

As of now, efforts to persuade them are ongoing. A medical emergency response team from Yerevan and an operational group from the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are also present at the site, along with a team from the ministry’s psychological service.
