Truck Overturns on Alaverdi-Ahktala Highway

On May 6, at 20:56, the National Crisis Management Center received information about an accident on the Alaverdi-Ahktala highway at the 10th kilometer. There were no reported injuries, as stated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to the scene.

It was determined that a Freightliner truck (driver: Yuri B., a citizen of Russia) had veered off the roadway and overturned, causing the highway to be blocked.

Rescue teams used special equipment to remove the truck from the roadway.
