The United States, which ranks first in the number of infections, has reported 1 million 212 thousand 900 confirmed cases. Here, the number of deaths stands at 69 thousand 921, making the U.S. also the leading country in this metric worldwide.

Spain ranks second with 248 thousand 301 confirmed cases and a death toll of 25 thousand 428.

Italy comes in third with a total of 211 thousand 938 cases and 29 thousand 079 deaths. Following Italy is the United Kingdom, which has surpassed France in terms of infections, reporting 190 thousand 584 cases and 28 thousand 734 deaths.

France has recorded 169 thousand 462 confirmed cases with 25 thousand 201 deaths.

In Germany, there are 166 thousand 152 confirmed cases and 6 thousand 993 deaths. Russia, which has surpassed Turkey in total infections, reports 145 thousand 268 cases and 1 thousand 356 deaths.

Turkey's number of infections has reached 127 thousand 659, with 3 thousand 461 fatalities. Brazil follows with 108 thousand 620 confirmed cases and 7 thousand 367 deaths.

The country of origin of the virus, China, has a total of 82 thousand 881 cases, with 1 new case in recent days. In China, the death toll stands at 4 thousand 633, and no deaths have been reported in recent days.

In Georgia, the number of confirmed cases has reached 593, with 9 deaths recorded since the outbreak began.
