Hakob Arshakyan Thanks All Armenian Telecommunications Operators

The Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan, expressed his gratitude to all telecommunications operators and supporting organizations in Armenia.

“Today, on April 24, we all honor the memory of the canonized martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. Considering the current situation, we have provided a technological solution to ensure your presence at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex,” the minister stated.

He specifically thanked the telecommunications operators and supporting organizations including Rostelecom Armenia, Veon Armenia, Viva-MTS, Ucom, and G-telecom, as well as Nikita Mobile. Thanks to their support, everyone in Armenia and Artsakh can send a short message (SMS) with their name and surname for just 1 dram to the number 1915. From abroad, messages can be sent to the phone number +37433191500. During the musical performances at the memorial, people can participate in a light reflection tribute to honor the victims.

He added that individuals can send up to 5 names from each number. “This day is a day of remembrance for every Armenian, and at the same time, a call for unity. Stay safe; together we can overcome any challenge,” the minister concluded.
