Ashtarak Police Uncover Theft During Patrol

On April 23, officers from the Ashtarak Police Department noticed a vehicle on Sisakyan Street during a patrol and approached it for inspection. Upon seeing the police, an individual inside the vehicle exited and attempted to flee. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

The officers pursued him and apprehended the fleeing individual at Nerses Ashtaraketsi Square. He was detained on suspicion of theft and brought to the Ashtarak Police station. It was revealed that the man was a 33-year-old resident of Arbat village in the Ararat region.

The detainee confessed that earlier that day, around 5 AM, he had stolen the side mirrors from a
