VIDEO: Man Steals Mobile Phones from Electronics Store, Detained
A 35-year-old man has stolen 7 mobile phones from an electronics store. He has been detained. This information has been reported by the press service of the Armenian Police.
On the night of April 17, a report was received at the Ijevan Police Department regarding a theft from an electronics store. Police officers who arrived at the scene discovered that the thief had cut the store's mesh, opened a window, and stolen 7 mobile phones from the second-floor exhibition area. A report was accepted from the victim.
To uncover the crime and identify the perpetrator, officials from the Tavush regional department of the police and the Ijevan division conducted extensive operational-investigative measures. As a result of joint efforts, the crime was uncovered on April 21.
At 10:25 AM, a 35-year-old man was detained on suspicion of committing the theft. He confessed that he himself had stolen the phones. In follow-up measures, the police also recovered the stolen items. The circumstances of the case are being clarified through an investigation.
