Video: 26-Year-Old Young Man Stabbed After Fight with Stranger in B-2 Neighborhood
On April 18, around 10 PM, the Malatya Division of the Police received a report from a medical center about a 26-year-old young man being transported with a cut-stab wound to his left thigh.
Law enforcement officials went to the hospital, documented the citizen's details, including where he was transferred from and his diagnosis, and spoke with both the doctor and the victim.
It became clear that around 9:30 PM in the Southwestern B-2 neighborhood, near a school, the victim had engaged in a dispute with an unknown young man, who subsequently stabbed him.
A forensic medical examination was ordered. Criminal investigators conducted operational inquiries at the scene and in adjacent buildings to identify eyewitnesses.
As a result of diligent work, days after the report, the crime was solved. Information emerged suggesting that a 28-year-old resident of the same neighborhood may have caused the victim's injuries.
Through explanatory work, on April 21, the suspect presented himself at the Malatya Division of the Police. He provided a confession. Circumstances are under investigation. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
