Armenian Clubs to Resume Training on April 23, Says FFA

The Armenian Government and the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) have reached an agreement allowing clubs in the Premier and First Leagues to resume training starting April 23. This was reported by the official website of the FFA.

The FFA has received coronavirus diagnostic tests, which will be distributed to the participating clubs of the Premier and First Leagues over the next three days. Before training begins, all clubs are required to test their players as well as representatives of coaching, support, and medical staff.

Each club can have no more than 20 individuals participating in a training session at the same time, including players, coaching staff, support, and medical personnel.

One week later, the FFA will discuss the resumption of the Premier and First League competitions, as well as the VBET Cup. Possible timelines are set for late May to early June, depending on the end of the state of emergency in Armenia and several other factors.
