The Number of Coronavirus Cases in Artsakh Reaches 6

The number of coronavirus cases in Artsakh has reached 6. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

"The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh informs that out of 9 citizens tested yesterday, one was confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus. This individual is the wife of an infected citizen from Karvachar, who had been self-isolated until now. Following a positive test result, the individual has been quarantined at the Karvachar Regional Medical Center in the Shakhumyan region.

Regarding the second infected case in Karvachar, the individual's circle is being clarified, and their health condition is assessed as satisfactory, showing no symptoms characteristic of the coronavirus infection.

Today, two more citizens from the Mirik community have been quarantined at the Kashatakh Medical Center, as they were in the primary contact circle of the infected citizen from that community.

Currently, the number of quarantined individuals stands at 12, including 4 confirmed cases.

To avoid false and unverified news, we again call for following official information, which is provided through the information headquarters of the interdepartmental commission coordinating measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in the Republic of Artsakh," the statement read on the headquarters' Facebook page.
