COVID-19: Global Death Toll Reaches 102,843, Over 1.7 Million Infected

The global death toll from the coronavirus has reached 102,843, according to worldometers.info/coronavirus. A total of 1,703,018 individuals have tested positive, with 377,090 recoveries.

Italy leads the world in fatalities related to COVID-19, with 18,849 deaths. However, the number of deaths is also rising in the United States, and if this trend continues, the U.S. may surpass Italy in this regard. As of the latest reports, 18,761 individuals have died from the virus in the United States.

Spain has recorded 16,081 deaths, while France has seen 13,197 fatalities. The United Kingdom is ranked fifth globally in terms of COVID-19 death toll with 8,958, followed by Iran with 4,232 and China with 3,339.

In Armenia, as of April 11 at 11:00 AM, there have been 29 new reported cases. The total number of confirmed infections has reached 966, with 780 patients currently undergoing treatment. A total of 173 individuals have recovered, and 13 have unfortunately succumbed to the virus.
