Criteria for Testing Identified: Includes Pneumonia Patients and Healthcare Workers, Says Minister

The Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, announced during a press conference today the criteria for selecting individuals for testing.

Addressing questions regarding the criteria for testing, especially given that the number of tests is expected to increase according to the Prime Minister’s statement, Torosyan remarked that new criteria have been added to the previous ones. Specifically, testing will include individuals suffering from pneumonia, healthcare workers who are employed in any medical facility and exhibit concerning symptoms characteristic of acute respiratory infections, newborns born to infected mothers, and pregnant women or expectant mothers admitted to obstetric wards who show signs of fever and flu.
