Vaccinations for Children are Conducted in Separate Rooms
The vaccination process for children aged 0-2 continues in outpatient polyclinic facilities under the jurisdiction of the Yerevan Municipality, particularly for vaccines against whooping cough and pneumococcus, among others.
Vaccinations are conducted in separate, isolated rooms that comply with all safety regulations. This was announced today, April 6, by the Health Department of the Yerevan Municipality on their Facebook page.
The announcement specifically states: “Dear fellow citizens, we inform you that due to the strained epidemiological situation related to the new coronavirus infection in the Republic of Armenia, outpatient polyclinic facilities under the jurisdiction of the Yerevan Municipality are operating under an overloaded schedule, both on working days and during off-hours as per the established duty times. Despite this, the vaccination process for children aged 0-2 continues, especially for vaccines against whooping cough and pneumococcus, among others.
It is also noted that vaccinations are conducted in separate, isolated rooms that comply with all safety regulations. From March 30 to April 3, outpatient polyclinic facilities under the Yerevan Municipality conducted a total of 627 vaccinations, including 222 against whooping cough.
