AC19 App No Longer Operational as Data Transferred to Covid-19 Armenia App, Avinyan
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, has made a post on his Facebook page introducing the Covid-19 Armenia application.
"We continue to leverage the opportunities provided by information technologies in the fight against the coronavirus, equipping ourselves with new tools. Today, I present to you the Covid-19 Armenia app, which has been developed in Armenia and is the result of the work of local specialists. The databases of the AC19 application, which is no longer operational, have been transferred to Covid-19 Armenia.
The most crucial feature of the application is the medical testing for users. Based on answers to a series of questions, the system assesses your health condition and recommends steps to take if necessary. Additionally, epidemiologists from the commandant's office will establish contact with users identified as being at risk and conduct interviews to determine if they require further medical attention. It is essential to avoid entering incorrect data to ensure that doctors can reach those truly in need of assistance.
Covid-19 Armenia is multifunctional and also includes the latest news about our activities in the fight against the coronavirus, health tips for avoiding infection in various situations, as well as the latest statistics related to the virus, and more.
In the application, you can fill out and save an electronic version of the movement permit required during these times. Covid-19 Armenia is available on Google Play and AppStore platforms."
