Ararat Mirzoyan Signs Order for Bonuses to Several Staff Members of the National Assembly
The President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, has signed an order regarding bonuses.
"Pursuant to points 12 and 22 of part 2 of article 5 of the constitutional law 'Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,' I decree:
- To incentivize state officials and several staff members of the National Assembly's staff with a one-time monetary bonus, in accordance with the attached document.
- To ensure the execution of the corresponding payments by the head of the National Assembly's staff, Tigran Galstyan, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia," the order states.
It should be noted that the order does not specify the amount of the bonuses.
In a decision from March 24, the President of the National Assembly had signed an order that foresaw a one-time monetary bonus for deputies amounting to 30% of their monthly official salary. Under this order, the head of the National Assembly's staff is required, with the consent of the deputies, to transfer these payments to the treasury account opened for combating the coronavirus.
