A Citizen Advised PM Pashinyan to Eat Ginger to Avoid Coronavirus Infection
Today, several users asked Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about inflation on Facebook. The Prime Minister noted that consumer behavior also impacts prices. When people rush to buy, say, canned fish, panic buying inevitably leads to inflation.
“Almost every day, discussions are held with my participation about the rising price of ginger. People write to me about ginger, ginger, and I have been informed. It was a challenge for me to understand what is happening until one of our compatriots sent me a video message. I am grateful to him for this concern; he was worried that I might get infected with coronavirus and said he was one hundred percent sure that ginger guarantees you won’t get infected with coronavirus. He even showed how I should cut the ginger for it to be maximally effective, and I understood why ginger prices have skyrocketed. Everyone believes that if they eat ginger, it serves as a vaccine against the coronavirus,” he said.
The Prime Minister added that the Minister of Health officially stated that there is no justification or evidence that ginger is effective against coronavirus.
