575 Vehicles Banned from Entering Artsakh, Says Mhryan
The Deputy Chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, Hayk Mhryan, presented the ongoing operations carried out by police units in different regions of the country during a press conference held at the government’s press hall today.
“As of April 6, the Police of the Republic of Armenia has escorted 515 freight transport vehicles entering the Republic from Iran, involving 447 police units. During this time, the movement of drivers has been restricted; additionally, the traffic police have escorted 69 other vehicles. To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, services are continuing at stable checkpoints along the highways leading to Artsakh,” Mhryan stated.
He noted that as of April 6, 1,908 vehicles have been permitted to travel to Artsakh, while the entry of 575 vehicles has been banned.
