146 COVID-19 Patients Have Pneumonia, 35 in Serious Condition, 8 in Critical Condition - Torosyan
Most of the patients infected with coronavirus do not even have a fever, but we have 146 patients with pneumonia. This was stated by Health Minister Arsen Torosyan during a live stream on his Facebook page on April 6.
According to him, there are 35 patients in serious condition. “They are not in intensive care yet, but they need oxygen, which they are receiving in hospitals. We have 8 people in critical condition. Unfortunately, we have had a death; we were unable to save the life of a 68-year-old citizen who had chronic comorbidities, including diabetes, hypertension, and ischemic stroke,” the minister said.
He added that currently, 1500 citizens are in isolation. “More than 5,000 citizens are under self-isolation. We already have over 400 citizens who have completed their self-isolation. Their number is increasing.”
