Why Trump Refuses to Wear a Protective Mask: USA Today
U.S. President Donald Trump explained to reporters during a press conference at the White House on April 3 why he refuses to wear a protective mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"It's just a recommendation. I feel good, and I just don't want to do it," Trump was quoted by USA Today.
The White House leader added that wearing a mask does not align with his status, especially when he is near the "big table" in the Oval Office or meeting with presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, and queens. Nonetheless, he did not rule out the possibility of changing his stance in the future.
