France Surpasses China in Coronavirus Cases as Virus Reaches Nursing Homes - Reuters

The number of deaths from the coronavirus in France has increased by 61 percent over the last two days, according to Reuters.

Currently, there are 6,507 reported deaths from the virus in France, with a total of 82,165 confirmed cases. As of April 3, the report indicates that there have also been 17,827 confirmed cases in nursing homes.

Vulnerable groups now include seniors who live in close proximity to nursing homes. It is important to note that the French Minister of Health has deemed it too early to refer to this situation as the "peak of the pandemic."
