National Assembly Allocates 500 Million Dram for Pandemic Prevention Measures
The National Assembly will redirect 500 million dram from its annual budget to the state budget, aiming to allocate these financial resources for measures aimed at preventing, controlling, and treating the pandemic.
This was announced by the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, on his Facebook page.
“The returned financial resources include funds allocated for various contracts planned for the entire year but not yet signed, as well as funds intended for business trips during the first quarter that were not actually spent, and financial resources earmarked for the second quarter. Also included is the complete compensation fund for around 700 employees and deputies of the National Assembly intended for the second quarter, along with provisions for representation expenses, energy services, and other budgetary lines,” Mirzoyan stated.
