Measures to Promote Agricultural Production Discussed Under Prime Minister's Leadership
Discussions led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on solutions to socio-economic issues arising from the coronavirus pandemic continued at the government headquarters. This information was provided by the government's press service.
In particular, the discussions focused on the possibilities of introducing new tools for promoting the production of various agricultural products and the development of farming enterprises, during which proposals and observations were made.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of summarizing the results of tools already being applied in these areas to assess their demand.
Nikol Pashinyan instructed the Ministry of Economy to present a draft of further measures, taking into account the ideas put forward and the evaluations of previous programs.
Once again, the Prime Minister highlighted the government's efforts to promote investment programs and added that an operational mechanism should be established to respond to investment proposals promptly.
Speaking about social support programs, Nikol Pashinyan underscored that the relevant authorities must work to ensure that beneficiaries receive their entitled assistance as soon as possible.
