I Believe High-Quality Elections Took Place in Artsakh: Prime Minister
High-quality elections have taken place, and the official results corroborate this. This was stated today by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the regular government session while addressing the presidential and parliamentary elections that occurred in Artsakh.
“I want to congratulate the people of Artsakh and us on the occasion of the elections. It is worth noting that for the presidential election, candidate Arayik Harutyunyan fell short of just a few hundred votes to secure his victory in the first round, according to preliminary results. I believe this fact speaks volumes. Additionally, the large number of forces participating in the parliamentary elections is significant. It is also noteworthy that the parties that entered the parliament in the first and second positions are not from the ruling party, but rather from the opposition,” he emphasized.
