Azerbaijani Plane Crosses Armenian Airspace

According to the newspaper "Pats", during this period, the number of aviation flights in our region is, to say the least, scarce. Against the backdrop of this overall "emptiness", a plane departing from Baku to Luxembourg caught the attention of flightradar24 yesterday around 13:25 as it crossed the airspace of the Republic of Armenia.

To clarify how normal it is for a plane coming from or going to Azerbaijan to pass through our airspace, "Pats" contacted the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia. The response was, "There are international agreements in place that allow civil aircraft to enter our airspace without special permission. We repeat: if these are civil aircraft, they do not carry dangerous cargo or state officials."

In that case, how often do planes to or from Azerbaijan cross our airspace? Is there any statistics on this? We inquired. "Again, I emphasize that civil aircraft do not have such issues. But I cannot say how often they cross, "said an employee of the civil aviation department.
