Supermarkets’ Operations Banned for 6 Hours
The Chief of Staff Tigran Avinyan has signed a decision regarding restrictions on several economic operators. According to the decision, the expansion of operations of the following branches (supermarkets) owned by these operators has been banned for six hours:
- Individual Entrepreneur “Naira Barseghyan” - Kapan, R. Minasian 16/5,
- Individual Entrepreneur “Elmira Avtandilyan” - Kapan, R. Minasian 16/35,
- Individual Entrepreneur “Arshaluys Sargsyan” - Kapan, Lernagortsneri 174,
- Individual Entrepreneur “Arthur Galstyan” - Tsaghkadzor, Magistroshi 3,
- Individual Entrepreneur “Armen Sedrakyan” - Tsaghkadzor, Magistroshi 26,
- Closed Joint-Stock Company “Titan 93” - Yerevan, Garegin Nzhdeh 9/44 and Yerevan, Garegin Nzhdeh 3/26.
The basis of the decision includes points 2, 6, and 7 of the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision №298-N dated March 16, 2020, on declaring a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia, considering the Chief of Staff’s instruction №Ц/17-2020 dated March 20, 2020, and decision №27 dated March 31, 2020, as well as the orders of the head of the Health and Labor Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia №652-A, №653-A, №675-A, №676-A, and №677-A dated March 30, 2020, and №686-A dated March 31, 2020, based on reports compiled as a result of monitoring conducted on March 30 and 31, 2020.
Health and Labor Inspectorate head Hakob Avagyan has been tasked with ensuring that economic operators are informed about this decision. The Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, has been entrusted with ensuring comprehensive control over the implementation of the requirements.
