Number of COVID-19 Cases in Turkey Reaches 13,531
As of March 31, Turkey has reported an additional 46 deaths due to the new coronavirus (Covid-19). This information was shared on Twitter by Turkey's Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, according to Ermenihaber.am.
In his post, the minister noted that 2,704 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed from 15,422 tests conducted within 24 hours. During this period, there were 46 fatalities among the infected. Currently, 847 patients are in intensive care units. A total of 92,403 tests have been conducted overall. So far, 243 patients have recovered from the pandemic.
According to the latest figures, Turkey has reported 13,531 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection and 214 deaths. The minister also indicated that testing increased by 25.2% on March 31 compared to March 30.
“Our testing centers have reached 75. Please remember that interactions are risky,” Koca wrote.
