“I have a surprise. I am infected with coronavirus.” Threatening letter to Turkish family
An unknown individual has sent a threatening letter to a local Turkish family in the Hamburg region of Germany. This was reported by Ermenihaber.
It was noted that the letter was dropped into the mailbox of 28-year-old Onder Kocja, who expressed his shock upon reading the letter that claimed the paper contained coronavirus.
In an interview with Turkish media, Kocja recounted that when he took the letter from the mailbox and read it, he was astonished. The letter stated:
“I have a surprise for you. I am infected with coronavirus. I have coughed on this letter several times and licked it all over. I will not leave this world alone. My last mission is to leave Germany for my children and grandchildren without foreigners. Die, die slowly; Germany should remain for Germans. I wish you evil, hoping the virus will spread quickly in your family.”
Kocja stated that immediately after reading, he sanitized his hands and contacted the police. He also reported the incident to the Turkish consulate in Hamburg.
Kocja sought assistance from doctors in Hamburg, who informed him that the probability of transmission from paper is very low. Despite this, he refrained from going to work for a week and stayed home.
It is worth noting that the Turkish source asserts that the author or authors of this letter are racist Germans. This is not the first such incident in Germany, as three similar cases were also recorded in various cities in Germany in March and February.
